Fives has developed a unique and patented solution of teeth re-profiling, which prevents girth gear reversal for the next 5 to 10 years. With a high quality level in surface, roughness and geometry (≤ Class 9 according to ISO 1328 standard), this on-site automated working operation is conducted without girth gear disassembly for a shortened shutdown time and a higher safety level.
