Francisco Leme: Speaker at CBI & AFARM Brazil & LatAm 2023

GMI Global has the pleasure to announce Mr. Francisco Leme as a Speaker at CBI & AFARM Brazil & LatAm 2023.

Mr. Francisco Leme is the CEO of W4 Resources, a company that provides support for projects that transform waste into recyclables and energy. He is also the vice president of the deliberative council of ABREN, the Brazilian Association for Energy Recovery from Waste.

With a career spanning more than five decades, Mr. Leme has worked in leadership positions in various multinational companies across the globe. Mr. Leme graduated in Mining Engineering, with a specialization in Business Administration, Leadership, and Strategic Development. 

For over 20 years, he has worked in the waste-to-energy conversion sector in major cement groups, including Lafarge, Cimpor, and Intercement, and, most recently, focused on urban solid waste.  

The presentation covered by the speaker will be "The benefit of waste-to-energy activities in reducing CO2 emissions".
