Christiane Pereira: Speaker at CBI & AFARM Brazil & LatAm 2020

GMI Global proudly announces the participation of Mrs. Christiane Pereira at CBI & AFARM Brazil & LatAm 2020.

Mrs. Pereira is a civil engineer and lawyer. She has an MBA in Business Administration and Environmental Law, she is a PhD student in Waste Management, and acts as Coordinator of the Technical University of Braunschweig in Brazil. She has been working for 22 years in national and international projects for the recovery of municipal solid waste, especially material recycling and energy recovery, with activities developed both with the public and private sectors. She has developed a draft to guide the elaboration of national resolution Conama n°. 481/2017 (composting), also developed and coordinated the energy recovery report, and also reviewed the organic waste recovery and climate protection report, documents that are part of the annex of National Sanitation Plan (PLANSAB 2020).

Mrs. Pereira’s presentation will focus on the Municipal Solid Waste Management and its synergy with the Cement Industry.
