Best Cement & Lime Project award at CBI Brazil & LatAm 2019

GMI Global is excited to announce the 5th edition of the “Dr. Clemente Greco award for Best Cement & Lime Project 2019” that will be awarded at the annual Cement Business & Industry conference and exhibition.

As GMI Global carries on the tradition of the conference and exhibition previously championed by Adriano Greco, we honor the legacy of his father and great professor and engineer, Dr. Clemente Greco, with a symbolic award for the “best new project”.

We are asking all registered professionals from cement companies to nominate project using the below criteria and a committee of CemWeek - the leading global cement information platform and publication - staff will evaluate the nominations according to a set of specific criteria.

The award will be presented at the cocktail on April 11 at 05:30 PM. Do not miss this exciting award and ceremony!

 The Award is a leading industry initiative that designates the best cement & lime engineering projects from Brazil & Latin America for “The Best Cement Manufacturing Project (engineering award)” and The Best Cement Innovation, Environmental or Sustainability Project.

Register to win the best engineering project in the field of cement and lime by submitting it to Beatrice Ene: be@gmiforum.com, making sure you meet the criteria below :

  • Provide a brief description of the project (including company, plant), including key metrics e.g., tph, kWh, utilization, and investment (2-3 sentences)

  • Indicate the status of the project and its location

  • Explain in 2-3 sentences why this project is a) innovative, b) supportive of improved performance, c) furthers sustainable manufacturing

  • Explain why this is the “best new cement and lime project” (1 sentence)

  • Indicate who the prime suppliers are for the project

  • The recommended font for the text is Times New Roman, 12 pt.

Please note that only the companies that register can participate. And only the present delegates representing the companies can claim the prize.
