The next generation of shredding technology

Mr. Hector Montellano, Sales and Business Development at UNTHA, will be presenting “The next generation of shredding technology”, at the Cement Business & Industry Brazil & LatAm 2019 Conference and exhibition to be held on April 11-12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil at Sheraton WTC Hotel.

UNTHA Shredding Technology has always led the way when it comes to innovative Waste-to-Energy technologies. For years, the "2-step process" was the standard for preparing alternative fuels. However, the brand new XR ripper and cutter series will represent the next generation of shredding technology for this niche sector.

After collaborating with some of the most innovative Solid Recovered Fuels (SRF), Refuse-derived Fuels (RDF) operators, UNTHA positioned itself to offer advice and experience when it comes to designing and running an efficient waste to energy plant. UNTHA XR machine has been specifically engineered to provide the next generation of energy efficient waste shredding technology. It contains a completely new "UNTHA Eco Drive" concept, which guarantees up to 50% less energy consumption than the conventional electro-hydraulic drive options. This can equate to electricity savings in excess of £500,000 over the lifetime of the machine.

Mr. Hector Montellano is responsible for defining long-term strategic goals, building key customer relationship, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. With over 20 years of experience in Sales and Business Development through Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Asia and another 14 years of experience in revalorization of Solid Waste projects (including recycling and preparation of alternative fuels), he also got leadership abilities, problem resolution skills and vast experience in a multicultural working environment.
